Well rehabilitation is another option if your yield has declined over time. Some of the causes of this are iron bacteria, (rust build-up plugging screens or perforations in the casing) or mineral and scale build up causing similar problems. We suggest using high volume of air to redevelop the well and clear the debris out to increase production. Using modern technology we can lower our camera down your well and view your well on our portable TV to examine and troubleshoot any issues inside your well.
Wells are removed from service for a number of reasons including: construction of a replacement well, failure of the well to produce safe drinking water, failure to meet state codes and standards, or perhaps the relocation of a septic system. An abandoned well can directly channel surface contaminates into the groundwater if not properly filled with an impermeable material. Normally this contaminated water is naturally purified in the upper layers of the soil; however, if the well is not properly abandoned, the water may bypass this action and contaminate the groundwater. We will seal off the abandoned well to meet and exceed all state guidelines in order to prevent contamination of the groundwater source.
